Picnic meeting

Join PFLAG Gaston for a Meet and Greet the Local Faith Leaders Picnic.  Faith leaders from local affirming churches will be on hand to meet you and take your questions.  We will have hot dogs, drinks, chips, and desserts.  So if you are looking for a faith family or just want to see what is going on, please join us.  We look forward to seeing you at the shelter in Stowe Park.

Monthly Meeting

Please join our April Monthly Meeting.  Our speaker will be the PFLAG South Atlantic Regional Director, Linda Stroupe.  Ms. Stroupe will address PFLAG Nationals role and it’s history.  Then she will discuss the direction PFLAG will be taking in the future and PFLAG Gastons role in that future.  As always there will be friendship, support, and refreshments.

PFLAG Gaston Monthly Meeting

PFLAG Gaston’s January meeting will be Thursday night the 15th. at 7:00 at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Gastonia.  We hope you will join us to hear one person share his journey of sexual transition.
At the meeting, a vice-president will be elected.  This person must be a dues-paying member of PFLAG Gaston.  Anyone who joins as of Thursday night will be eligible to run for the office.  
Dues of $15 a year are due now.  Our treasurer Cindy Buckley will be at the meeting to collect either cash or checks (made out to PFLAG Gaston).  All of the dues will go to PFLAG National; none is kept in our chapter.  Any money that we need will be raised through fundraising or donations.  
Also, checks may be mailed by February 1 to PFLAG Gaston, Post Office Box 550864, Gastonia, N.C. 28055. 
Please continue to be an active, dues-paying member of our chapter.  Your support means much to us in our pursuit of equality for all.

PFLAG Gaston Monthly Meeting

Speaker Jim Long will have an informational discussion about LGBT History.  In order to develop a well rounded discussion Jim has asked that attendees post any questions they may have on our PFLAG Gaston Facebook Page prior to the meeting. Refreshments will be served.  Thank you for your questions.  New faces are always welcome.  Please join us.

We meet on the third Thursday of every month at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Gastonia. 7:00 pm. All those who support LGBT members, are LGBT or are questioning their sexuality or the sexuality of a loved one are welcome to attend. We hold a confidential meeting with a different topic of discussion or program at each meeting.
